Philip was 18 yrs old and ready to graduate from harlingen Highschool, Texas, USA. Philip already had his own home and a lovely Girlfriend Lisa, they were both ready to start there life together. Philip took sick and went to the Doctor and found out he was a Diabetic but no test was done at that time and no Insulin given. He was given some medication to get better and this was for Type 2 Diabetics. Philip was not getting any better and called the Doctor and she called in a different medication called Actos and this made philip worse after about a week. Philip ended up in the hospital and got very ill and had Type 1 Diabeties and due to all the confusion and doctors irrisponsability Philip passed away at very young age. By the time Philip got into the Hospital it was already too late to save him. The hospital did everything they could for Philip but due to the Doctor not testing Philip this is where it all started. Philip should have been given Insulin not a pill.
If you know anyone that is Diabetic please make sure they find out if it is type 1 or type 2. Philip took ill very quickly due to Doctor not knowing it was Type 1 Diabetes.
Your Mum, Sister Tina, Buck, Brother Mark and all your Family miss you very much Philip, we think of you every day and will be with you in the future.

I see parents struggling daily,
Their pain is such a fight...

And left the rest of you behind...

Heaven is beautiful and God is kind.
You used to tell me that one day
God would call and take you home.
You told me you'd make me strong
So I would stand tall when alone.
But things happen, Mom
That does not go in our plans,
I wasn't scared, Mom,
When God held out his hand.
I didn't want to leave you,
I didn't have time to say good-bye
When the angels said, "Come with us"
There wasn't time to question why.
I've watched you daily, Mom.
It hurts to see you cry.
I don't want you to be unhappy,
Just because we didn't get to say good-bye.

So many parents need to know
That Earth was just a layover
We had another place to go.

Because my earthly life was through.
